    Malik,
    Optometrist
I love what we do at Eyes & Optics. Optometry involves all my favorite subjects: physics, medicine history, music and art. Eyeglasses define character and alter perception. They are pop culture. Optometry is a complex science and art and remains a brick and mortar service. You must have confidence in your provider. We take that trust very seriously. We can guide you easily through the process of vision plans, medical insurance, premium optical lens choices, surgical options, and fashion choices. I have assembled the most talented and friendly staff in the city, and a great selection from the top independent optical designers in the world, true artists, all in a award winning, relaxed, club like atmosphere, featuring a fun collection of music and eyeglass memorabilia. Edward Joseph Malik holds advanced degrees in psychology and optometry from UNLV and Southern California College of Optometry. His doctoral thesis explored the connection between human and robot vision systems. He studied music and theatre production in Boston before moving to Las Vegas in the 1970’s, and was a founding staff member and jazz announcer for KUNV-FM, the nation’s highest rated jazz station, and a freelance music writer and producer, and drummer with the critically acclaimed band, Melancholics. Reviews From Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I had stopped in earlier last month and was told about the Maui Jim road show. Came back yesterday, and Valentino was dedicated to me the whole time I was there. Purchased a new pair of Maui Jim sun glasses, and I love them. They also have a pair of Maui Jim frames, that I like. Next year my insurance covers part of the frame, so I may be back for them. Thank you."
